From Chesapeake or North of US HWY 17
Follow US 17 South, take 1st Elizabeth City exit, follow US 17 South (Business) for apprx. 5 miles. Once you pass the hospital continue over the Knobbs Creek Bridge and then turn left at the next light onto North Road Street. Take an immediate left onto Ward Street. The Knobbs Creek Recreation Center will be on your left 3/4 of a mile.)
From Edenton or South of US HWY 17
Follow US 17 North, take the first Elizabeth City exit, follow 17 North (Business) for approx. 6 miles. 17 North turns in Hughes Blvd. Turn right at the light immediatley past the Elizabeth City Brick Company (on your left) and then an immediate left onto Ward Street, The Knobbs Creek Recreation Center will be on your left 3/4 of a mile.)
From the Outer Banks
Follow 158 West, Continue on 158 West turning left onto Shortcut Rd (still 158.) At stop sign at the end of the road (approx 10.5 mi), turn left to stay on 158 W. Go over the draw bridge (approx 5.5 mi) and take the 2nd right onto Poindexter Street. Continue for approx 1 mile and turn left on Ward Street. The Knobbs Creek Recreation Center will be on your right (3/4 of a mile.)
